1. Purpose
Sunny Data Center Observatory is an informational, public-interest research prototype. It does not approve projects, provide engineering conclusions or offer legal, investment or regulatory advice.
2. Eligibility
Do not submit information if you are not legally permitted to share it. A production service should obtain guardian consent before accepting submissions from minors.
3. Community submissions
You remain responsible for what you submit. Content must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawfully obtained, and free of confidential, defamatory, threatening, harassing or security-sensitive material.
4. Permission to review and publish
You grant permission to store, review, verify, redact and use a submission only within the publication preference you choose. “Private” means editorial lead only. Anonymous or contact-first options do not guarantee publication.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not trespass, impersonate others, bypass security, upload malware, send identity numbers, expose access credentials, target private individuals, automate abusive submissions or use the map to threaten or disrupt a facility.
6. Map accuracy
Locations may be approximate. Status and capacity can change after the last verification date. Absence from the map does not prove that a facility does not exist, and inclusion does not imply wrongdoing.
7. Company and government statements
Linked primary statements may be self-reported, forward-looking or subject to conditions. Their inclusion does not endorse the claim. Read the original document and date.
8. Intellectual property
Sunny Data Center Observatory's original name, interface, copy and data arrangement may be protected. External photographs, map tiles, company names and source documents remain subject to their respective owners and licences.
9. Third-party links
External sites are provided for verification and context. Sunny Data Center Observatory does not control their availability, security, content or later changes.
10. No warranty
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. No warranty is made that every record is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular decision.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the project is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on the prototype, external sources or unauthorised use.
12. Suspension and removal
Abusive submissions may be rejected, removed or retained temporarily for security and legal purposes. Access may be limited when necessary to protect people, data or infrastructure.
13. Corrections
Use the corrections process for a contested record. A supported correction is preferred to a broad takedown request, except where privacy, safety or law requires removal.
14. Changes
Terms may change as the project and legal requirements develop. Material updates should be dated and summarised.
15. Governing terms
A production launch should specify the responsible legal entity, address, grievance contact and governing jurisdiction after advice from qualified Indian counsel.
